Finances

An operating principle of Montana Wilderness School of the Bible is to keep student costs low. This is accomplished by the careful stewardship of the staff, a debt-free policy, and the gifts of God's people.

To enhance this, the community atmosphere at the school provides for student work contributions. This program, operated on a rotating basis, assigns each student six hours of work per week, assisting in various areas of the school's needs. Jobs include construction, maintenance, food service, kitchen help, office work, cleaning, etc.

Please Note:

MWSB is not accredited and not eligible to accept federal funding. Early application is advised since enrollment is limited to 24 males and 24 females. Once accepted, a $350.00 non-refundable matriculation fee is required of all students, which is then applied to tuition.

This amount is payable as follows:

Upon Acceptance:	$350.00 matriculation fee is due upon acceptance and is applied to tuition. (non-refundable)
August 23, 2008:	$3,375.00 due, represents one-half board and room, tuition, and books less matriculation fee.
January 5, 2009:	$3,625.00 due, represents one-half board and room, tuition, and books.

Financial Matters

A. Student Financial Agreement:

Please reference the MWSB Financial Agreement, which is a separate document sent to each student, for specific dates and costs. Please pay all fees in US funds. Visa and Master Card accepted.

B. Refund Policy:

In the event a student must withdraw from the school (for any reason) all tuition, room, and board fees will be refunded at the following rate: (application and matriculation fees are non-refundable)

Tuition, Room, and Board:
First two weeks 75%
Third and Fourth week 60%
After Fourth week 0%

C. Check Cashing:

Students may cash personal checks and two-party checks in the Director of Finances’ office located in the lower level of the chapel. We cannot exchange Canadian money or checks in our office.
