MISCELLANEOUS INFORMATION

A. Firearms:

Firearms are permitted at MWSB but under strict guidelines. Handguns are not allowed. Large caliber rifles are allowed only if the student has a Montana hunting license. .22 caliber rifles and shotguns are acceptable. All guns will be stored at a specific place on campus. Guns found in dorms will be confiscated and removed from the school and the student may face disciplinary action. MWSB will not be responsible for loss, theft, or damage of stored firearms.

B. Phones:

Pay phones are available in the foyer of the dining hall. Only credit card or collect calls are allowed. The phone numbers at which students may be reached are:

C. Work Assignments:

One of the ways that MWSB is able to keep the cost of room and board and tuition reasonable is by having the students take part in the overall upkeep of the school. Each student will be assigned a weekly task that will rotate every two to three months. They will spend approximately six hours each week fulfilling their work assignment.

D. School Office:

The school offices of the Director, Director of Finance, and Registrar are located on the lower level of the chapel/classroom building.

E. Laundry Rooms:

The boy’s laundry is located in the boy’s bathhouse. The girl’s laundry is attached to the girl’s bathhouse. The charge is$.50 per load to wash and $.50 to dry.

F. Week Day Travel:

Each week at MWSB is filled with activities available to students. Students are required to be at such activities as morning class, which meets from 9:00 to 12:30 weekdays and a Monday evening class from 7:30 - 8:30. Additionally, all chapel and church services are required, as are Bible studies. Voluntary activities such as choir, drama, coffee house outreach, Augusta youth group and activities committee all serve to be enjoyable but time consuming. These activities on top of the homework requirements of a concentrated course leave little time for travel.
